Jodi Tervo Roberts, MS, CSCS, WFR, ZIN

Jodi has almost 20 years of experience in the health and wellness fields! She has worked with all age groups, in most medical and educational settings.

My passion is to help people of all ages and abilities lead a healthy, active, and meaningful lives, whether through one on one training (using a coaching style), group fitness/programming, volunteering with related organizations, or through the classroom where I can make a positive influence on our future professionals. I am a teacher of movement, through movement - preferably in the outdoor setting - and I am an experiential teacher and learner.

My Master's Degree is in Exercise Science from Northern Michigan University, I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Licensed Zumba Instructor, and a Wilderness First Responder. Out of my garage, I created the Upper Peninsula Adaptive Cross Country Ski Organization, which is continuing to grow under the direction of a Non-Profit Organization. I have been a volunteer coach for collegiate athletics, with some athletes continuing to consult with me in their professional careers as coaches. I am an outdoor educator and guide. And, no matter what the scenario or setting, I strive to meet clients where they are at.

I have a personal and professional passion for learning about and researching alternative leadership styles, motivation, positive psychology, and analyzing all in action through experience and observation. My experience in the healthcare field and teaching in the education systems across the country (early childhood up through higher education), has helped influence a very broad understanding of our current state of health, education, and economy here in the USA. Along with this, my diverse travel has provided me with a deeper understanding of global health and wellness.

In addition to my work with E3 Twin Ports, LLC, I also teach at Lake Superior College, volunteer with the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute Northland, and most recently joined the Superior Rotary.

I also strive to walk my talk, and learn through experience and research. I have a dream of being a leader in health and wellness, and enjoy speaking and teaching about how to integrate research into practical application.
